Case Study 1:

Thornlie, Western Australia 2008.

· Typical double brick West Australian project built home.

· Rare opportunity to see all damage as ceilings had to be removed.

· Customer had chemical barrier installed which failed and termites continued attack, cost to repair damage $50,000.

· Bug Busters called in May 2008 and installed the Exterra termite interception and baiting system to eliminate colony and secure $100,000 timber damage warranty.

In the pictures below you will see that all blue coloured and all light coloured timbers are the areas where the original timber had sustained damage. Termites had also worked their way behind kitchen tiles to get to the kitchen cupboards.
